The Submersible Effluent water pumps come with features and benefits that are designed for many different applications. The Goulds water pumps come with impellers that are cast iron, semi-open, non-clog with pump-out vanes for mechanical seal protection and balanced for smooth operation (silicon bronze impeller available as an option). The casings are cast iron volute type for maximum efficiency. 2″ NPT discharge with Dual Mechanical Seals, the lower seals are silicon carbide vs. silicon carbide sealing faces, stainless steel metal parts, BUNA-N elastomers. The upper seals are carbon vs. ceramic sealing faces stainless steel metal parts, BUNA-N elastomers. the pumps come with a Seal Sensor Probe located in oil-filled chamber, if pumpage should begin to leak past lower seal it indicates to pump control panel a fault has occurred (Requires optional Seal Fail Circuit in the control panel). the shaft is corrosion resistant, stainless steel with a threaded design and lock nut on all models to guard against component damage on accidental reverse rotation. All fasteners are 300 series stainless steel. The Goulds centrifugal pumps are capable of running dry without damage to components and are designed for continuous operation when fully submerged.
